  3. Competency based telephone interview
  4. Attendance at Assessment Centre
  5. Values, Behaviours, Attitudes interview

As part of the assessment process you will need to undergo a telephone screening interview. This will be set up once your application form has been received and successfully screened by our recruitment team.

Please note – your talent profile forms a major part of the initial selection process. It is your opportunity to 'go to town' and to provide an insight into what really makes you different and perfect for working for Mecca!

Within your talent profile you can add photos (as well as a picture of YOU, photographic evidence of hobbies, interests, achievements all help) supporting documentation (certificates, awards, references) and even video – a short piece to camera telling us why we simply MUST meet you and why you are interested in this opportunity would be perfect. But the choice is yours!

The assessment process

The assessment process will enable us to assess your skills and capabilities as required for the role of Trainee General Manager. The 3 key capabilities we will be assessing you against are:

  • Leading the Business
  • Leading the Team
  • Leading Performance

If you are successful in the screening process you will be invited to attend one of our Assessment Centres. At the assessment centre you will be required to take part in 4 assessment activities:

  • Group Discussion exercise
  • A business presentation
  • A report writing exercise
  • Competency interview

The assessment centres are taking place in July and, if successful, you will be advised of a date and venue nearest to you by our recruitment team.
